    The Kashmir Files is an upcoming Indian political thriller directed by Dheeraj Kumar and produced by Vikram Malhotra and Karan Anshuman under the Dharma Productions banner. The film is based on the real-life investigation of the killing of a 20-year-old college girl in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

    The story revolves around a young journalist, who goes to Kashmir to investigate the mysterious death of a young college girl, believed to be a suicide, but is in fact, a cold-blooded murder.
